Building relationships is so vital to the academic success of all students. Some relationships are difficult to form and may not be recognized until some time later. Ask any student who inspires them and they can name that teacher or those teachers that they felt had a positive impact on their lives. Few, if any, ever realize the inspiration that they provide to the teacher. It's the students who overcome challenges, work hard and never give up that provides teachers with that drive to keep waking up and coming to work each day.
